SAFARI Digital Transcoder

The SAFARI Digital Transcoder can generate MPEG-2 (supports the SAFARI Digital media Commander) and/or MPEG-4 encoded streams, making it ideal for educational and public library applications.

Unit configuration and control is accessed via a password-protected web page server. A simple, yet secure upgrade routine allows new encoding algorithms to be loaded or updated as revisions become available, extending product life and return on investment.

The SAFARI Digital Transcoder allows any new or currently installed Pathways system to be converted from analog to a fully digital video delivery system.
