A host of SAFARI Montage server options are available for straightforward school installations as well as complex district-wide installations. Both tower and rack mount models are available with 4 bays for a plug & play building solution. For larger schools, rack mount servers are available in both 8-bay and 10-bay configurations. The WAN-1000 is a high–performance, ultra-fast backbone server for district or wide-area-network installations. Servers come pre-loaded with Core Content and can be easily loaded with additional content due to the open-bay structure. All servers are fully compatible with most standard network configurations.
Core Content packages include hundreds of pre-selected pre-loaded titles that are fully segmented and searchable, and are available as an annual subscription. Programs from the finest educational video publishers are available and include National Geographic Digital Media, Disney Educational Productions, The History Channel & The Biography Channel, PBS, WGBH-Boston, Scholastic, Weston Woods, BBC Active, Sesame Street, Goldhil Educational, monterey media and award-winning content from Schlessinger Media.
SAFARI Montage CreationStation™ is an easy tool for schools and districts to add, share and manage original and licensed digital video content on their network. SAFARI Montage CreationStation™ supports newly or previously recorded digital video; permits administrators or teachers to assign a variety of specific metadata tags to original work; and allows you to add student- and teacher-generated file attachments for further learning.
Additional Content packages include fully segmented and searchable content, ranging from full educational programs to primary source film clips. Additional Content Packages are available for the critically-acclaimed, Emmy-award winning Reading Rainbow titles and additional Schlessinger Media titles and the unprecedented collection of actual footage of the most significant people and events of the 20th century from The Video Encyclopedia of the 20th Century. Additional Content packages are available as an annual subscription and can be purchased once one of three content packages for SAFARI Montage has been purchased.
