SAFARI Montage
Keller ISD needed district-wide network access to different styles of mobile devices, from Motorola Android-powered devices to iPhones and iPads. They also needed the same access to instructional resources from home as well as from inside the district. Keller was looking for the delivery of full-motion digital video with high reliability to function over their new Motorola wireless network because they knew that traditional streaming over the Internet would not work.
The SAFARI Montage solution was able to provide the solution for each challenge and in a fully integrated manner, which standardized the interface for teachers and students throughout Keller 24/7.
Students at Keller ISD love using mobile devices for education
Students at Keller ISD benefit from using mobile technology because "it's easier and faster to express their thoughts to teachers," they are able to "get test results more quickly," they've "increased their grades" in certain subjects, and maybe most importantly, they're already "using technology at home so if they are allowed to use it in the classroom as well as at home, more work can get done."
